Jack & Jack Biography

Jack and Jack are best friends who work together to perform pop-rap on Vine. Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson are known mainly for their single “Wild Life” that was released in 2014. Jack and Jack are both twenty years old and from Nebraska originally. These guys have been friends since day one; literally, the two have been friends since kindergarten!

In 2007, Jack and Jack decided to create their own YouTube channel called MotherFalconQuagmire. Not thinking anything of it, Jack and Jack started creating video after video of them being their comical selves singing songs and being silly boys. In 2013, the boys were separately posting their first Vine videos up until they joined together to become Jack and Jack. One of their most popular clips is “When This Song Comes On,” catching the funny aspects of a typical car ride with teenagers. As of 2015, Jack and Jack had about five million followers on their Vine account making them extremely popular amongst their age group.

In 2014, it was clear that Jack and Jack were headed to bigger and better things. Shortly after their Vine appearance, they created music with influence from reggae, R&B, pop and hip-hop. Some of their songs include Doing It Right, Cold Hearted, Right Where You Are and Wild Life. Something unique about Jack and Jack is that they have worked with other artists in their field like Shawn Mendes, Max Martin and Savan Kotecha.

The boys are confident they will continue to be successful in their endeavors throughout the next couple of years. Johnson and Gilinsky have begun working with large companies like Kohl’s and Mudd Style to get their names out there as well.

Jack Gilinsky is in a relationship with the hit sensation Madison Beer. Beer is an aspiring singer and songwriter who is about seventeen years old.
