The Magic Beans Biography

The genre-defying band known as the Magic Beans was established in the mid 2010’s in Colorado by founding members Scott Hachey, Chris Duffy, Casey Russell, and Cody Wales. With a unique blend of Americana, bluegrass, funk, livetronica, world, and rock, the Magic Beans are a band just getting started but on a quick rise, even though they’ve not yet signed to any major record label.

The Magic Beans have so far performed more than four hundred shows across the nation in their first few years, providing live performances which rely on no pre-recorded tracks and give audiences an authentic music experience. Sharing the stage with notable acts such as Umphrey’s McGee, Railroad Earth, Elephant Revival, String Cheese Incident, and Kyle Hollingsworth Band, the Magic Beans offer an extensive collection of their music available for direct download via their “bandcamp” website, including a large offering of their live performances.

The Magic Beans host the sold-out Beanstalk Music Festival in Colorado each year. The group recently released their first EP, Common Mind, in August of 2017. The EP features six tracks and arrived in advance of an extensive nationwide tour which will bring the Magic Bean to cities such as Asheville, Albany, Richmond, Charlotte, and Baltimore.
