The Italian American television personality Kathy Wakile was born in 1965. Today, Kathy is best known for her role on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of New Jersey; she joined the show for its third season, in the spring of 2011.
For two full seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Wakile and her family entertained viewers with their constant conflicts with cousins and in-laws, all while balancing family life and career aspirations. On the show, Kathy shared her business endeavors with audiences, first her Goddess Eye jewelry line in 2011, and then later her Red Velvet Cosmo cocktail drink in 2012. She also published the book Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet in 2014. Proceeds from her investments often go to various charitable organizations which raise awareness for brain cancer; Kathy’s daughter Victoria suffered a benign brain tumor as a child and had to undergo surgery to have it removed, and so the cause is near and dear to Kathy’s heart.
Although Kathy left the show for its sixth season, she made appearances throughout the season and into the seventh season as well. Today she and her husband, Richard, continue to live in the Franklin Lakes area of New Jersey.
