Hailey Baldwin Biography

The American model, Hailey Rhode Baldwin, was born in 1996 in Arizona. That Baldwin would enter the entertainment industry is little surprise, considering that her father is actor Stephen Baldwin and her uncle Alec Baldwin; her entire childhood was filled with the influence of the industry. And yet, Stephen Baldwin’s family chose to raise their family away from Hollywood, in the Tucson area, where Hailey was homeschooled for her education.

Initially, Hailey showed little interest in modeling or acting. Her first aspiration was to become a professional ballet dancer, but an injury derailed that early dream. Her next interest was medicine, and she considered entering university to become a doctor, but instead Baldwin chose to embark on a modeling career in her late teens.

After signing with Ford Models, Hailey appeared in a number of magazines and was featured in French Connection’s clothing line for the winter of 2014. Her biggest breakthrough came after a photo shot for Vogue and Teen Vogue in 2015, which led to modeling spots for Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. By 2016, Baldwin had signed with IMG Models and her next ventures included an appearance on the cover of Marie Claire and a runway walk for Dolce & Gabbana.

Hailey Baldwin is a young model just getting started, and one to watch in the coming years. Baldwin recently topped the 2017 list of most beautiful women in the world for Maxim Magazine; she also recently received a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice Model.
