Catfish and the Bottlemen were formed in Llandudno, Wales, and would originally go by The Prestige while they earned placements on BBC Radio and played at various festivals. By 2013, the band signed to Communion Music and released their first trio of singles.
The following year, Catfish and the Bottlemen would release their breakout single, “Kathleen,” and begin hitting the festival circuit across Europe. Their debut album, The Balcony, would be met with critical acclaim and spawn their first solo tour. Over the years, Catfish and the Bottlemen have kept up a steady live performance schedule and performed across the globe while releasing another pair of albums: 2016’s The Ride and 2019’s The Balance.
