Wallows Biography
Wallows is an American pop group formed in 2017. The band currently consists of vocalists and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Minnette, vocalist and guitarist Braeden Lemasters, and multi-instrumentalist Cole Preston. Wallows came together officially in Los Angeles as the trio were friends for over a decade before then. Their debut single, “Pleaser,” took off on Spotify and local radios leading to their first bookings.
By there end of the year, Wallows had become one of the rising names in the pop scene and began their first Us tour in 2018. Their debut project was released this year to critical acclaim, and the following year their breakout single, “Are You Bored Yet?” featuring Clairo, would release. Wallows would go on another tour during this period and the social media app TikTok would blow up the song in 2020.
Wallows’ debut album, Nothing Happens, would peak at #75 on the Billboard 200 chart. While the band has had several successful singles like “Pleaser” and “Pictures of Girls,” the Clairo-assisted “Are You Bored Yet?” has been the Wallows’ biggest release thus far. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA and peaked at #2 on the US Alternative chart and #7 on the US Rock chart.
Wallows recently released their fourth official project, Remote, which peaked at #129 on the Billboard 200 chart and amassed millions of streams across various platforms.
