Coone Biography

The hardstyle DJ and producer known as Coone was born Koen Bauweraerts in 1983 in Belgium. Coone burst onto the music scene shortly after the turn of the new millennium, but long before that he’d started mixing and producing music as a teenager. In 2002, Coone released his first EP, Protect the Innocent, to critical acclaim and commercial success.

Since that time, Coone has released the albums My Dirty Workz (2008), Eshays Adlays (2008), Dirty Workz Deluxe (2009), and the compilation Public Enemies (2011.) The albums spawned a number of singles, including “The Name of my DJ,” “Getting Down,” “Life is Complex,” “The Return,” “Throw Ya Handz,” “Bounce On Ya Sneakerz,” “Doggystyle,” “Tranceball,” “Here Comes the Boom,” “Beat on My Drum,” and “Dedication.” Coone also wrote the anthems for Reverze for the event in 2006 and 2007.

Coone launched his own record label, Dirty Workz, in 2006. Most recently, he has collaborated with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on their track “Madness,” and released the album Global Dedication in 2013, and he has provided the themes and anthems for Emporium 2013 and Tomorrow 2013.
