Originally from Miami, Florida, Lucas Rego is a successful DJ mixing his trap and EDM styles together. His stage name LooKas, helps him keep his mantra of being a DJ on par. LooKas has a hit single, “Anger,” that has topped the charts in previous years. He has been featured on BBC Radio 1 alike many other DJ’s in the industry.

Another claim to fame that LooKas is proud of is his appearance in Flo Rida’s song, “GDFR.” LooKas songs are available on SoundCloud for free listening options. He is on the newer side of the EDM scene and is still working to get his name out in the open. LooKas was named as one of the Top 10 Acts to keep your eyes out for this year by the Rolling Stones Magazine. This publicity is huge for the solo artist because it will help get his career going at a very fast pace. Being from Miami, the city has taught LooKas all he knows, giving him great inspiration and motivation to keep working towards his dreams.

The city of Miami has a vibe unlike any other city and LooKas used that to create music that all age groups would be able to listen to and enjoy. However, performing for live audiences was not paying enough so LooKas stopped that for a while and began to write his own music instead.
