The White Panda Biography

The duo known as the White Panda began in the mid 2000’s, when childhood friends Dan Griffith and Tom Evans discovered that they’d both moved on to college and chosen the same path of study—music production. Both men were also pursuing their own careers in electronic dance music, and so they decided to team up to for the White Panda.

The White Panda rose to prominence in 2009 with the release of their debut album, Versus. The album was an immediate success, launching a career which has since given the White Panda five additional albums, all critically acclaimed, and more than thirty electronic dance hits. Additional albums from the duo include: Rematch (2010), Pandamonium (2011), Bambooyah (2012), and Bearly Legal (2013.) Since their inception, the White Panda has also brought their high energy live performances to festivals around the world, including Lollapalooza, Bamboozle, and Firefly.

In addition to their own original music, the White Panda has provided a number of remixes for some of the era’s biggest hits, including “Human Touch” (Betty Who); “Demons” ( Imagine Dragons); and “Like I Would” (Zayn.) With more than fifty million SoundCloud hits and ranking as one of the network’s most-streamed artists, the White Panda is conquering the electronic music world on a global level. The duo released their latest album, The Pawprint, in 2015. Their next studio album is expected to arrive in the coming year.
