DJ Rectangle Biography
DJ Rectangle rose to fame in the early 1990’s as an up-and-coming turntable artist after winning the International DJ Search competition. His successful win garnered him the coveted spot as the official DJ for the artist Warren G., and DJ Rectangle soon found himself with a contract with Def Jam Records.
With Warren G., DJ Rectangle toured internationally and appeared in performance on a number of television shows, including Late Night with David Letterman and the Jon Stewart Show. Since then, DJ Rectangle has worked with a number of other high profile artists, including Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs n Harmony, R. Kelly, Montell Jordan, Monica, and Ice Cube. As a producer, DJ Rectangle earned multiple Grammy Award nominations and helped produce releases by Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem, Mala Rodriguez, and even Justin Timberlake.
In addition to his work for music artists, DJ Rectangle has also provided music for a number of television shows and films, including: Saturday Night Love, My Super Sweet 16, Super Bowl XLII, E!
