The American comedian, writer, and actress Bridget Everett is a familiar face to anyone who watches the Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer. Everett was born and raised in Kansas, but moved to New York City to pursue a career as a comedian, one which brought her to audiences through the city’s numerous comedy clubs.
In addition to her solo comedic performances, Bridget Everett often performs with her band, Bridget Everett & The Tender Moments. Within a short period of time, Everett was hailed as one of entertainment’s rising stars, with a unique brand of performance that often includes cabaret-style vocals and comedy, garnering her the description of “a mouthy, flesh-jiggling early Bette Midler” by the New York Times. The band most recently released the album, Pound It!, in 2014.
Everett’s television credits include appearances on the series Two Broke Girls Sex and the City, and Girls, and she also appeared in the film Trainwreck, alongside Amy Schumer. In addition, Bridget has performed at multiple comedy and music festivals in recent years, including The New York Comedy Festival, The San Francisco Sketchfest, HBO’s Aspen United States Comedy Arts Festival, and Chicago’s Just for Laughs Festival.
