The American stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco was born in Chicago, Illinois. While growing up in the Arlington Heights area, Sebastian harbored dreams of a career in the entertainment field someday, and so after graduation, he moved to California to launch his career. Maniscalco began work waiting tables to pay the bills, but at night he honed his craft in the various venues around Los Angeles, eventually garnering the interest of other comedians and agents.
Maniscalco was featured by Comedy Central in his first stand-up special, “Sebastian Live,” in 2009. Sebastian has also performed on a number of late night talk shows, including: Conan, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Jay Leno Show, and the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. In addition, actor Vince Vaughn chose Sebastian Maniscalco as one of only four comedians to feature in his showcase, Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights – Hollywood to the Heartland.
Since that time, Sebastian Maniscalco has been featured in two additional stand-up specials, “What’s Wrong with People” and “Aren’t You Embarrassed,” both of which were picked up by Showtime for its live and on-demand platform. Maniscalco was most recently featured in the Jerry Seinfeld show, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Sebastian’s memoirs, Where You Wanna Eat?, were released in 2016.
