Scott Thompson, better known as Carrot Top, was born in 1965 and grew up in Cocoa, Florida. While attending Florida Atlantic University, he began performing stand-up around town and at open-mic opportunities. Carrot Top quickly discovered that he had a flair for entertainment and embarked on a career in comedy.
In the mid 1990’s, Carrot Top was best known as Cartoon Network’s continuity announcer and a stand-up performer who was highly recognizable due to his bright orange shock of hair. Since then, Carrot Top has appeared in a number of television shows and films, including Criss Angel Mindfreak, Simmons Family Jewels, George Lopez, Scrubs, Chairman of the Board, The Rules of Attraction, The Jay Leno Show, Tosh.O, and Reno 911! In 2010, he appeared on the show Don’t Forget the Lyrics and the reality series The Bad Girls Club.
Most recently, Carrot Top began headlining at Las Vegas’s Luxor Hotel, bringing his interesting brand of prop humor to audiences.
