The rapper known as Yukmouth was born Jerold Dwight Ellis III in 1974 in Oakland, California. Yukmouth is best known as the CEO of Smoke-a-Lot Records, which is home to a number of established artists. As a solo performer, Yukmouth arrived on the scene with his own debut, Thugged Out: The Albulation, in 1998.
Yukmouth’s debut was followed by a number of other albums, including: Godzilla (2003), Million Dollar Mouthpiece (2008), Free at Last (2010), and Half Baked (2012.) Yukmouth is also frequently featured as a guest artist on a number of songs by other artists, including: “None” (with Big Mike); “Senorita” (with Mack 10 and The Delinquents); “We All Ball” (with Boo-Yaa TRIBE); “Spray Yourself” (with C-Bo); “Target Practice” (with The Jacka); “Pleasure of Sin” (with Outlawz); “Raft of a Killa” (with J-Diggs); “Holmedown Up” (with Shock G); “Stay on Top of Ur Game” (with Young Noble and Hussein Fatal); “Life is a Gamble” (with C-Bo); and “Big Goals” (with Struggle Da Preacher.)
