Arizona Zervas Biography
Arizona Zervas is an American rapper and songwriter born in Hagerstown, Maryland. He started making music in high school and released his first song in the 11th grade. His debut single dropped in 2016 and was quickly followed up by over thirty more releases, accumulating over one million streams on various platforms. Zervas’ debut EP Living Facts dropped in 2018.
In the fall of 2019, Zervas released “Roxanna,” which quickly gained notoriety and went viral thanks to users on the app TikTok. The song quickly topped charts across streaming services and was the first to top Spotify charts as an independent artist since 2017.
Living Facts gave Zervas a solid fan base and garnered millions of streams across Spotify. “Roxanne” debuted at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100, and peaked at #5. The song took the #1 spot on New Zealand’s charts and placed in the top 10 on the charts in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Late in 2019 after a major-label bidding war, Zervas inked a deal with Columbia Records and joined the likes of Lil Nas X who gained record deals from a viral hit in 2019. The new decade approaches and Zervas continues to put in work on his debut album.
