QUIN Biography
QUIN is an Afro-Latina singer and songwriter born Bianca Leonor Quiñones in Los Angeles, California. She began singing as a child and then began playing instruments, including the conga drums and the trumpet. QUIN also sang in church choirs as well as high school choirs. She attended Pasadena High School and eventually Cal State Northridge before pursuing music at age 19.
QUIN’s debut album GALACTICA dropped in the fall of 2016 and garnered her great attention from listeners and critics alike. Her EP DREAMGIRL the next year helped garner her a solid fanbase, and she started her “fantasy soul” sound. In 2018 QUIN started the Fantasy Soul label.
QUIN has endured great success through her EP and album, and her music has been streamed millions of times. Her songs have been featured in major publications such as Billboard, Vibe, and Genius, among others. QUIN has also toured with Gnash, JMSN, and Erykah Badu, and has performed at SXSW and Afropunk.
