During her time on That’s So Raven, Raven also released a number of successful albums, most notably film soundtracks, which went on to sell millions of copies and endear the actress to an entire generation of teenage fans. As an actress, Raven Symone began a career on the big screen while still appearing on That’s So Raven. Notable film appearances include: Dr. Dolittle (1998), Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004), the Cheetah Girls (2003), and Kim Possible: So the Drama (2005.) While her solo albums have performed well, Raven experienced significant success with her soundtrack albums for The Cheetah Girls and her television series, That’s So Raven. The albums sold nearly a million and a half copies collectively, and earned her a ranking on VH1’s “100 Greatest Kid Starts Of All Time.”
